Bruce Hagy - Cincinnati InsPresident’s Message

It is a great honor to be the 2010-2011 Tennessee Claims Association State President. Having been involved with the Tri-Cities Claims Association local for the past 1o years, the privilege of being President has provided me with another tool to better myself in this industry.

As an industry, we have experienced many changes over the last year. The most notable change has been with our economy. We have experienced drastic changes in our work environment with the loss of co-workers, friends, family and competitors who have become another tragedy of the downward turn in the economy.

We all hope for a simple answer to turn things around not only for us individually, but for the State of Tennessee and the nation as a whole. I thank each and every person who has continued with their involvement in the Tennessee Claims Association. The bond that has developed between people, not only on a local level, but a State level shows that with hard work and determination, we can continue to be profitable and provide the needed services.

I feel this bond we have with the Tennessee Claims Association is different than with many other organizations. I have made the comment on several occasions that there is a lasting friendship developed through the TCA. I challenge you to invite as many people as possible to your local meeting. This growth in attendance and membership will strengthen the TCA in the long run.

I also invite you to join the Tri-Cities Claims Association as we host the 55th Annual TCA Convention, May 5th – 8th, at the MeadowView Marriott Resort & Convention Center. MeadowView has developed into the area’s premier hotel and convention facility. Cattails at MeadowView provides championship golf right outside the door. Please join us for a great weekend.

Again, thank you for this opportunity to serve a TCA President.

Sincerely,

Bruce Hagy

TCA President
